You can mount the
iso images with this command at a command prompt
mount -o loop /path/to/file.iso /path/to/mount/point
example for installation when the installer has started:
ls / if no listing of a directory mnt or /mnt
mkdir /mnt
mkdir /mnt/cdimage
mkdir /mnt/harddrive
mount -t auto /dev/hda1 /mnt/harddrive /dev/hda1 represents hard
disk 1 hda the number represents the first partition so a second drive with ony 1 partition would be /dev/hdb1 etc.
assuming on my part you have the images stored under a windows 98/me system
mount -o loop /mnt/harddrive/'My Documents'/cdimage1.iso /mnt/cdimage
the 'My Documents' the 's or "s are needed anytime a break in a name is present for a directory or file path to tell the OS shell look specifically for these characters etc.
