Hey,
I was using Gnome before but now I moved to KDE. I was pretty found of Rhythmbox, but I can't get gstream work with arts. When I test the sound in gstream-properties, it segfaluts. I have been told it's a known bug...
Anyway, I want to find another Media Library Player. I have found madman but I am not so happy with it. I gess I may be just because I'm used to rhythmbox...
What Media Library Player do you think I could use ?
I found a media library for XMMS, but it is at a pretty early development stage so I'd rather not use it for the moment !
I cannot try Juk or Amarok for the moment because it requires libflac4 which is incompatible with libflac6 that many programs are using now... :-((
I gess it will be fixed soon under debian sid...
Amarok seems not to like small files. It it was caused this problem.
Anyway amarok is still not very stable on my system. The media library sometimes disappears, or sometimes amarok just don't want to play any files ! I don't understand !
Do you know any other player with the same features : media library, automatic favorite playlists, etc... ?
