Gnome GDM on Suse 9.2 Pro Question

I started out with the Gnome GDM as my default login manager. It was they default for nearly 2 or 3 weeks now. All of a sudden when I restarted today, it leaped over to the KDE login manager instead. I found this especially strange because upon logging in I used the Gnome GDM but then it changed when I needed to reboot. Is there a file I could configure somewhere to have the Gnome GDM be my default login manager again?

Open YaST and click the "System" heading.
Choose the "/etc/SysConfig Editor" module.

Click the "+" next to "Desktop"
Click the "+" next to "Display Manager"

Click on the "DISPLAYMANAGER" heading
See the drop down menu to the right?

Select "gdm"
Click "Finish"

If for some reason this does not work on your next reboot and you get a command line instead, just log in as root and type in "kdm" to get back to your previous DM. This will sometimes happen if you don't set up a "gdm" group/usr.

Now that I've got one problem solved, another one has arised. This is pretty weird too. Sometimes when I configure something in Yast and reboot my computer, the login changes to KDM. I want it to stay on GDM. I'm wondering if there's a way to just get rid of KDM altogether? This would solve my problem correct? Please help!
