The rc0.d and rc6.d files are located were?!?

Im trying to install vmware and it wants to know where the rc0.d and rc6.d files are located. I dont know what to do since I dont know how to do a search to find it. And I dont know just from knowledge were theyd be located. Im running Slackware. can someone help me please!

Those usually exist in the /etc directory, but slack doesn't have them there since they are only symlinks to the actual startup files in /etc/rc.d
You'll have to create your own symlinks in /etc pointing to the corresponding file in /etc/rc.d

and how do I create a symlink to the right file in the right folder?

well... Vmware is looking for the symlink files and not the actual files so I need to create those symlinks. How do I do that?

man ln
ln -sf [SOURCE] [TARGET]
in other words in /etc directory
ln -sf rc.d/rc0.d rc0.d
the same with rc6.d
