Installation Query

Does anyone know the link to install a driver (not linuxant) for a WG111T Wireless PCI Card? System isn't recognizing it so I figure that installing a driver would help.

umm, I'm not sure, just go get the driver and install it (it might handle everything for you), or it might require you to start it by hand, either way 1) you need to get the driver 2) read install / readme files for it 3) install it 4) see if it worked

www.google.com/linux might be a nice place to start

WG111T

http://linux.cergynux.net/Wifi_Netgear_Linux.htm

This link says that there is no driver for Linux or FreeBSD for this device yet,

NDIS wrapper must be used,

I tried,
under FreeBSD 5.3
compiled ok, but couldnt load the module,
i suspect ar5523.bin to be loaded as well in order to make it work

[ATHER.CopyFiles.nt]
wg11tnd5.sys,,,2
ar5523.bin,,,2

ndiscvt -i netwg11t.inf -s wg11tnd5.sys -f ar5523.bin -o ndis_driver_data.h
then
make && make install

IF anyone succeded please reply....

wg111t

hi all.
i have just installed ferdora core5 on my system and i cant install my wireless adabpotr.
it is netgear wgt111.
I have used this device on the windows and the driver seemed to have a problem under window.

anyways my point is the driver for this device might actually be hard to write, that’s why no one seems to be able to find it.
