Cd Ripping

I want to rip cd's to MP3's. What software is out there and what kind of GUI's are available. Preferably for KDE.

I always use GRip, which is for GTK/Gnome and works very well. I'm sure there's an equivalent for KDE, the surest bet would probably be to search Freshmeat.

there is another way, sslow but you need no software.
open konqueror and type "audiocd:/" in the location bar (with the audio cd in the drive)
konqueror will display the contents of the cd in a virtual directory structure. go into the folder labeled "Ogg Vorbis". copy a track from that folder and paste it in your home directory (or any other location you have write permission). that's it! the track will copy itself in *.ogg format, which is better than mp3 i believe.
