Full or Customised Installation?

This is part of the ongoing "exploring the Slackware community" series of polls of mine.
When you install Slackware, do you do choose a Full installation or do you prefer a customized one?
If you go customized do you use tagfiles , or some other method?

I always do a full install i guess, i only exclude Emacs, is it still a full install then?

I do full but not on all sets. I leave off emacs, kde and kdei. But then I remove the odd thing here and there that I consider worthless (such as gxine)

Me too (and kdei).
Not so long ago I did a minimal install, but didn't see any advantages in it. I hoped it would be faster, more responsive (left -among others- KDE out).
Didn't notice any speed difference...

I do a full install in 99% of all times on desktops.
When I install a server, it all depends. Most servers I install do not have the 'x' series, neither kde, kdei, emacs.

I voted for 'full install' though, as it is the best option for most users.

I used to do customized installs, but since hd space is cheap and plentiful, I now do full ones.

As previously stated, a full install doesn't compromise speed, since one is still in full control of what processes are running.

I find that with a full install, even though I don't use the KDE desktop, some of its k-apps come in handy every once in a while, so ultimately, there's a time and convenience benefit.

I omit KDEI, but do a "full install" on the other sets. When doing a custom install,
I always get too agressive eliminating things...causing myself a lot of trouble every time!

Leaving out Emacs? I hope RMS isn't reading this thread.

I always do an full install on my desktop since i got the space and everything for it.
On servers i never do an full install since it's for an specific purpose.
About emacs i install it on my desktops but i never use it.

On older Slackware installs i did customize allot even own kernels but now i don't need that any more.

I only really installed it once, but don't feel the need for Emacs, Tcl/Tk, or TeX. I was going to customize it more, but decided to just install it the easy way. I have plenty of room, but I figured I'd worry about them later if I had a reason to, and I don't think I will any time soon.

Full install here. I tried paring it down years ago and ended up with strange dependency problems later on.

I do a full install because I trust Pat and crew. I customize things from there to suit myself, but I figure they know what they're doing and just install what they provide. It's always worked for me.

I never install E, KDEI, T, or Y. And then afterwards add quite a
number of pkgs ... pkgs I build(t), or from Alien Bob's repo. Plus,
for Chinese stuff, I add some nice Mickey$oft fonts, since our
Chinese fonts still aren't so great.

I do a full install, just turn off what I don't currently need.
