majordomo.aliases modified, what's next?

Hey Y'all,

So I created a new list where I also modified the majordomo.aliases file. When a request comes in to subscribe a user, an authentication email is sent out, and then when the user replies with the authentication key email, the user successfully is added to the list. However, when majordomo sends an email to the owner, it bounces back to me(root) that user 'testlist-approval' does not exist. And when I use that subscribed account to send an email to testlist, it bounces back that it doesn't exist.

I have a feeling that majordomo.aliases.db and probably the other .db files have to be updated....how do I do that? -or- what do I really need to do?

I tried 'postfix reload' and that didn't work either...

Any ideas? ...thanx...

The command newaliases will rebuild the databases (as will restarting postfix) but only if the majordomo.aliases is listed in alias_maps in the postfix config file main.cf.
