Your most likely having a problem with the turner being detected with the wrong setting look into the output of the
dmesg command to see how it is seen. Now with my old TV2000 XP Deluxe I need to have the module loaded with these options.

Now a quick Google on your card suggests it might be using cx88 module like my new card and this thread
here in Checz seems to be saying use
modprobe cx88 card=9. You would do this after having used
modprobe -r cx88 and
modprobe -r tuner if it works then you would put a line like
options cx88 card=9 in your /etc/module.conf to have the setting used on boot. Now you might need to put a
tuner=? line on the end of the command here is the list.
