Connecting to Web Using Belkin ADSL Modem With Wireless G-Router (SuSE 10)

I have recently bought a Belkin ADSL Modem with High-Speed Mode Wireless G-Router and am trying to connect to the Internet wirelessly. I can manage to do this with Windows, and the connexion is good, but I have no idea how to get SuSE to recognise this device.

I have a little USB wireless adapter plugged in, and the system does recognise it as an HP device. Does anyone have any advice ? I am completely new to this wireless stuff, and am puzzled, so apologies for perhaps asking a very basic question. I am currently using Gnome in the SuSE environment, if that is of any help. Many thanks for anyone that can get me online with SuSE, instead of having to do my web-browsing with Windows !

I have the same setup using Fedora Core 4, hooking up to the Belkin via a Linksys USB/Ethernet adapter. Do you have your Ethernet configured (ifconfig eth0)?

This site had some info you might be able to use:
http://openskills.info/infobox.php?ID=949

It says yast2 handles all this setup.

Once you have the Belkin being recognized, you can set it up via a Web browser just as under Windows.
