[WorkAround] temp2/3/4/5_input (core temps.) keep switching between hwmon1 and hwmon2

Ever since i upgraded to Sid and longterm kernel 4.1.12 i have been having this weird problem. temp2_input, temp3_input, temp4_input and temp5_input which give the CPU core temperatures, keep switching between /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/ and /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon2/ after every shutdown. I am forced to edit my conky.conf accordingly after every cold start to have them displayed correctly in my Conky. Other than that everything is in tip-top shape. This is my most stable, trouble-free and snappy Debian configuration to date. Gkrellm is unaffected by this, btw. Betcha this is a new one even for the seniors here, to me it's like voodoo..

Edit: Seriously people, this is really happening..

Code:
${color} Core1:$color${cpu cpu1}%     ${if_existing /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/temp2_input} Temp:${hwmon 1 temp 2}°C ${else} Temp:${hwmon 2 temp 2}°C ${endif}
${color} Core2:$color${cpu cpu2}%     ${if_existing /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/temp3_input} Temp:${hwmon 1 temp 3}°C ${else} Temp:${hwmon 2 temp 3}°C ${endif}
${color} Core3:$color${cpu cpu3}%     ${if_existing /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/temp4_input} Temp:${hwmon 1 temp 4}°C ${else} Temp:${hwmon 2 temp 4}°C ${endif}
${color} Core4:$color${cpu cpu4}%     ${if_existing /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/temp5_input} Temp:${hwmon 1 temp 5}°C ${else} Temp:${hwmon 2 temp 5}°C ${endif}
Not exactly elegant but it works.:|

Still get this error when i run conky from the terminal but at least it displays the temperatures correctly irrespective of where the darned things teleport themselves. Would've appreciated knowing what's really happening here.
Code:
conky: can't open '/sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/temp2_input': No such file or directory
please check your device or remove this var from conky
