Patching RedHat 5 to a specific version

Greetings,
I have a system which is currently running RedHat 5.7. If I do a yum update, this will try to bring me to the latest level, which is currently RedHat 5.11. The user has an application which is only certified to work up to RedHat 5.9. Is there a way to patch to a specific level?

that really dose not matter

BUT
if you MUST
contact redhat tech support
that IS why you are paying for the support contract

it WILL cost $$$$ extra to LOCK it at the old 5.9

expect to pay a bit

I'm sorry to hear that you're four Upgrades behind.

Obviously the real solution here is to ask the application vendor to support the current RHEL release.

You can download 5.9 ISO from RedHat and use it as repository.
