Minimizing to tray in cinnamon

I was wondering if it is possible to show icons that i have minimized or closed to the tray in cinnamon. For instance I use quodlibet for my music and i can close to the tray while listening to music but there is no icon in the tray. using debian jessie.

When you run quolibet an icon appears in the tray, correct? If you right click on its icon in the tray, you should see an option lock to tray. After that quolibet will always appear in the tray when you start up your system.
