Debian jessie x86 on
this pre fossile age laptop.
Symptom
After dist-upgrade, system keeps hibernating, regardless I/O. (to be exact, this symptom started during dist-upgrade.) It goes down something like every minute. It is extremely annoying!!
upgrade log
Too many packages were updated, so that they do not fit within LQ forum limit. Please check an attached log file.
Troubleshooting
Upgrading linux-kernel-image did not resovle this situation. (I have my own custom kernel.)
SystemD related
kernel options are checked. (They are OK)
Bingo
It is not quite Bingo, but clearing hibernate option (kernel option) is good enough for the time being.
Question
Does anybody know why this happens?
