Console Logs


Dears,

I have many nodes RedHat 5 and all are connected to terminal server using serial connection. i need to capture console logs from all nodes which will help to determine problems root cause.

You can use ttywatch, which is available for RHEL 5...it's even covered in their knowledgebase, which you have access to with your paid subscription. You are PAYING FOR RHEL, right??

..and you can even use netcat to redirect/tee the serial output from those different servers directly into syslog.
