Am totally new to Linux! have just installed Mandriva 2006 on my laptop, can't get my linksys WUSB11 ver 2.8 to work, think I need ato install a driver, don't know which driver or how to install
Since my first post have uninstalled Mandriva and am now trying Ubuntu 5.10. Am having the same problems, inboard mini PCI dell 1370 wireless card not seen or my Linksys WUSB11 wireless adaptor! I have both windows and Linux drivers on disc but am unable to install either. Installed Nadiswrapper but can't find program anywhere in my Ubuntu software? Am very new to Linux so probably just don't know where to look! Only have a wireless connection so would very much like to get away from being in Microsoft's mercy.
I am having a with my WUSB11 V 2.8 working with Xandros but I am able to see all available routers. I just can not get DHCP to issue an IP address. My Lan line is working just find. I am new to Linux also and I do not know if the problem is with the drivers or is it just me being domb with the setting.
