Bonding speed only 10Mb

I have bonded 5 100Mb ethernet cards together to bond0.
When I issue the mii-tool bond0, i get:
bond0: 10 Mbit, Half duplex, Link ok

The speed set to 10 is confirmed via an snmp get.

How can i get the bond to be more than 10Mb?

Some versions of Net-SNMP can't determing the speed, but you can configure it by hand...

You might try more recent versions (5.1.1) to see if they work any better...

Just set the port speed statically using mii-tool. Just force the card to 100 full, it might not negociate properly if the switch is set full/full, or even if both ends are auto/auto in some cases (I've got some compaq machines that have that problem).
