how to reinstall grub?

Hi

I'm a linux newbie, and I'm running Red Hat 9.0. I just installed Windows XP recently, and it seems I cannot boot back to Linux . I can only boot to Linux using my boot disk. so how do I reinstall my grub to boot to Linux normally? (I don't want a dual-boot now cause I've removed Windows XP thinking the machine will enter linux like before)

Yes, Windows has destroyed your Grub. To reinstall it you have to do this:

boot with your first RedHat cd
type linux rescue in the menu
then chroot /mnt/sysimage
and the last step is /sbin/grub-install /dev/hda

If your partition changed, you have to edit your /boot/grub/grub.conf -file [usually this is not necessary].
