I was wonedering how to use the command "fuser" in the solaris platform to check whether a FILE is in use or not.
Even though I ran through the man pages I dint get a specific option to check a FILE is in use or not.
In linux you can use the option "-v" to find the same.
Note:- Even though I open a file in editor "vim" and after that if I check that file is getting accessed by any processes with "fuser" I am not getting any output

fuser is returning the pids of processes using the given file. If no pid is returned, the file is not open by any process.

This is expected. "vim" is not keeping the file open outside when reading or writing it.
