Reading XFS on Windows XP.

Does anybody know of a software that can help reading XFS on Windows?

I tried to search a bit on google, but was unsuccessful.

I have XFS on my Linux Box, and my laptop can read and write to it(windows XP Home). It is samba that handles that for you.

Sorry, you didn't really indicate how you wanted Windows to read XFS, I guess I made a bad assumption there.

Okay...
Normally you have to have a 3rd parititon, or a format readable by both as one of thte partitions to store data on the same computer...But I used to use this: http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm for ext2 and ext3, I used to use that in school, so I bet there is a similar program for reading XFS, but I really don't know about those. I have no experience with others, so sorry about that.

LOL. That is why I have posted this topic man! ;-)

I was not able to find any for XFS.
I know there are more than a couple of softwares for EXT3 and EXT2.

But i couldn't find any for Reiser FS, XFS etc.

http://groups.google.com/group/cross...ystem-drivers/ Tells many tales of the drivers being massively unstable causing the windows machines to BSOD, Freeze on unmounting drives, etc...

Good thing it wasn't there on their homepage for download, I can't find a DL link anywhere, which is why I checked that google group.

Those Crossmeta drivers seem to be the only ones for XFS. For anybody who is interested, there is another driver for ReiserFS: http://rfsd.sourceforge.net/

coLinux allows one to run a linux kernel inside of windows, which could then theoretically read/write any filesystem for which there is a linux driver.

Readonly access to reiserfs from Windows

I have used YAReG to read reiserfs partitions from windows (2003/XP). Its not a driver like e2fs tools. It launches a little UI application that allows browsing and copying files from reiserfs partitions into a windows folder. There is not support for writing.
