no sound, vt8233

I found lotś of threads about this subject but none of them with my soundcard,
slackware 10
kernel 2.6.7

alsa 1.0.6

alsaconf went great, found the soundcard and everything seemed great. But I dont get any sound at all.

the sound worked great with 2.4.2x and alsa 6month ago.
Any suggestions would be great, Iĺl try anything.

I removed the alsa packages, still when starting up the same "sound" modules where loaded (see above(lsmod))
so I rmodded them all away, installed alsa again and it worked untill next reeboot where the same modules were loaded fuckin everything up nosound4ever

The modem audio was fuckin everything up, I disabled the modem in bios, and tadaa!
