I run the email check here at about 9:00 GMT each morning. For the last 2 mornings running, linuxquestions.org was down. It appeared to be down for some hours, although I didn't pursue it
One day I ran nmap on it. All services were closed except call book on port 2000 or 2000 from memory.
I don't care really, but outages then interfere with your european people. The rest of Europe is an hour ahead of GMT usually.
Thanks for the feedback. The downtime was actually scheduled and noted in the the LQ Suggestions & Feedback forum. While we do everything in our power to maintain the highest possible uptime, this outage was infrastructure related and imposed by our hosting provider.
