yea, those are good ones, anything by mark lutz is good (imho). i like 'practical python' by magnus lie hetland, 'python, how to program' by dietel associates(not for beginners(doesn't spend enough time on the fundimentals(imho))), 'python in a nutshell' <o'reilly> as a good reference book for looking up forgotten syntax, and a non-python specific book ' design patterns explained' <shalloway/trott> to get you in the object oriented frame of mind.
