How to Install Mac OS X Snow Leopard in VirtualBox on Linux

I have been trying to install Mac OS X Snow Leopard in VirtualBox using a Mac OS X install disk. When I boot it boots into a very simple shell that I can't type anything into instead of booting Mac OS X regularly.

If I'm not mistaken (and I very well may be) Mac OS X has a license agreement that doesn't allow it to run in a virtual environment.

Mac OS X Server allows running under virtual machine in its license.

Thanks for clearing that up for me vermaden. I've often wondered about that but never had the time to dig into it.

Regards,

I don't think you can just install OSX into a vm from dvd and boot it unless it is a hacked version such as osx86. OSX uses different type of bootloader than a standard x86 hardware it is using EFI.
