I am wondering if anyone here has tried
installing VirtualBox on Ubuntu 1404; then installing the 'open source' ISO
of Windows7 [XP,8,or any other Distro] on VirtualBox; then installing
SolidWorks on the VirtualBox / Windows 'Frankensteined
partition', within said Ubuntu 1404 platform, as SolidWorks is
incompatible with Linux based systems. [or so I'm told]
[Long way around the barn ?...Do I need my head examined ?]
Or,,,, would I be better off looking for a used Windows based
pillar / desk-top, and make it easier on my grey-matter.
Or,,, would someone have a better idea.
Thank you all in advance.
God bless
