"Guru" title alternatives?

What are the choices of title on reaching 5000 posts?

I wonder how you can change the title though.
I never had the option to choose.

Kind regards

I'm lazy. I'd forgotten details were in that FAQ.
I won't want anything that gives the misleading impression that I know a lot. LQ Veteran seems most appropriate, when I get there.
Thanks, Anisha.

Neither have I.

I asked Jeremy about it a while back, seems to be a bug. He would look into it (didn't do so as of yet I guess).

I thought you would be asked? I'll have to wait and see what happens.

Hi,

Addict indeed has a negative ring to it although in combination with LQ might just show how hard one finds it to stay away from LinuxQuestions. LQ Veteran would just make me feel old. I don't consider myself a Guru either so I'd probably go with the LQ 5k Club personally.

Kind regards,

Eric

Are you old enough to be a Veteran?

Hi,

Since I only recently turned 49 and knowing your ages, I'm definitely not going for LQ Veteran. Way to young to hold a title like that

Kind regards,

Eric

I am 32 at the moment. By the time I reach 5000 posts, I'll probably be your age.
