The first step to ascending newb status, acknowledging you're a newb :P
I'm a linux newb. Don't know much, but I remember when I first tried to learn it a while back on a hacking drill server. Well, now I'm trying to learn Linux to use as my main OS. My windows Hard drive doesn't boot up unless I unhook my linux hard drive, and I'm too lazy to do that, so I just use linux now. I had some trouble installing slack 10, but slack 9 was a sinch. Slack 10 is very picky in my opinion, but also worth the pickiness, cuz it's so much nicer than slack 9 :P I like to play guitar, run, play around with linux, and used to play video games. Now I just play wotmud, a really fun MUD! I don't know how to use command text editors at all for some reason. The manual entries don't really make sense to me for some reason, don't know where you use the options and stuff. Well, that's the way most of Linux is to me actually, so I'm obviously a newb :P I've installed slack 10 like 6 times in 2 days, but I won't get into the reasons why. PM if you're curious (yeah right :P) well, got to get back to wotmud :P
