Hi all! I'm here to introduce myself.

Hello everyone! I'm here introducing myself (ShadeJackrabbit) to all of you. That's right, the anthropomorphic rabbit in the red cloak who looks really shady but actually isn't, is now here.

*cough* Aside from that ridiculous intro I just wrote, I'm actually a Canadian who's been using Linux on occasion since I was about 6. I've only really gotten to begin grasping it and using it seriously in the last few years, but it's been a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

After going through multiple distros, from Red Hat to Fedora to Mandrake to Mandriva, then finally Ubuntu, I'd have to say that the latter is the most user-friendly one I've come across. I may not know much, but I'm ready and willing to learn, so I'll just have to see what happens. And did I mention Linux is my favorite OS?

Well, aside from that, I have a main interest in developing and playing Adventure Games. I mean real adventure games, not Ratchet and Clank. The Dig and so forth. Therefor I'd say two of my favorite Linux projects are ScummVM and the Linux version of AGS.

Well, that's all I'll post here.

Hello!

Hello and welcome to LQ, if you are into reading and helping on occasion these forms are a good place to read daily. Don't forget the 'zero reply threads', you never know when you may be able to help someone. The Wike here has a lot of information also.

Thanks for the reply! I shall go and do so! Hopefully my skills of observation can be put to great use! With great power comes great responsibility and all that.

Well, hope I can be of some help in the future!
