Well... I got it!!!!! xD Thanks to you guys.

This is what I did.

Need:

EasyBCD 1.7.1
GParted (optional)

Obviously the Windows (XP and Vista).

First of all you have to follow the "paulsm4" order:

Windows XP
Windows VIsta
Linux

------------------------

Heres the steps to follow:

http://apcmag.com/5023/dual_booting_xp_with_vista

------------------------

(this is the way I did based on the above guide, is you going to do it like I did, read the guide first)

1. Install XP (I don't think I have to explain that)

2. Installing Vista (mine was 64 bit ultimate but I don't think it matter which version is it)

First partitioning the space:

I tried the Gparted method but I wasn't successful, for some reason the live cd wont start so I used the "Diskpart" method. The downside about the diskpart method is that the shrink command take 1/2 the XP Space which to me was a lot of space so what I did was shrinking it indeed but taking 1/2 of that space for vista and letting 1/2 of space unpartitioned for linux.

For example:

Hard Disk 120GB
When installing XP
- 100GB Windows XP
- 15GB unpartitioned
(This is actually like I did it, thinking about linux space in first place)
....
Installing Vista
- 100GB Windows XP
*Shrink*
- 50GB XP
- 65GB unpartitioned space (the 50GB we get from the shrink joins the already 15GB unpartitioned space)

---------

That was my situation, what I did was:

-Extend the XP partition to 75GB
-Create a 25GB Vista partition
-20GB unpartitioned (obviously was not 20GB but just saying that I reserved some space for linux)

(when I say extend, Im not talking about the extend command trough the command box, Im actually talking about the tool that appears in the Vista installation, so you must be on that screen to edit the partitions first)

Note that I only opened the command line in the partition screen, just for shrink purposes.

Finally when Vista installed, my pc boot up, I don't really remember if it listed the "Earlier Windows Installation" (im sorry that happens when u have 2 days doing this) If it does I didn't pay attention and I just go into Vista.

Next step, Install EasyBCD:

http://neosmart.net/downloads/softwa...CD%201.7.1.exe

Vista wasn't even fully loaded when I was starting the EasyBCD installation.

After that and in like the guide, you just go to change settings and theres two tabs there:

Global Settings - To decide your default windows (I choose XP there, but its relative).
Entry-Based Settings - Thats the nice part, you can edit the name of the Windows installations.

Just save it and your good for linux.

Note: Don't touch the drive letter in the "Entry-based tab", I did and it wasn't nice, neither XP or Vista would load so I run the vista recovery and that fix it (it created another windows entry in the boot but worked just fine).

After recovery I logged in vista (in the "Windows Vista Ultimate TM (recovered)" that was the entry that windows created for my stupid action lol) when logged I opened EasyBCD change the drive letters and everything would run good again. I wouldn't let that horrible and long "Windows Vista Ultimate TM (recovered)" entry so when I logged again on vista I opened EasyBCD yet again and in the Add/Remove entries I deleted that entry for good.

Installing Linux (ubuntu in this particular case):

Just put the Live CD (mine was 7.10 ubuntu), install it as you want just make sure u install the grub with it. Don't even think about boot in linux adding it in the easyBCD entry, it wont work. I first installed linux without the grub thinking that maybe easyBCD would do the job and no. I had to reinstall linux again because I wouldn't be able to install the grub apart from the whole installation of linux (at least in my case linux wouldn't find some files to do so). So when I installed linux again and boot up and I see the screen...

7.10 Linux blah
7.10 Linux blah
7.10 Memtest whatever
Other Os:
Windows Windows longhorn/loader

When I saw that I though....Meh...there we go again...guess what? When I went into longhorn I didn't go to Vista but to Windoze xD XD I was like that.

So I pressed longhorn option and the screen showed this:

Windows XP SP2 (that the way I renamed the "earlier windows installation" remember?)
Windows Vista

So yeah then I make sure everything was good and indeed:

Xp = OK and running
Vista = OK and providing this post
Linux = OK and awaiting for me to fix all the issues (unrelated to the boot of course) xD

So thats it! Thanks to all of you I hope this can be useful as a guide for everybody, isn't that it was hard either but it can help

Im still curious of what happened... I think Windoze is inside of the Grub, with easyBCD making it possible.
