Successfully installing mplayer from RPM's
I have downloaded and installed several RPM packages of mplayer.
I must be doing something wrong. Each package says the it requires the other. I have downloaded all of the packages and it still says it requires something else.
I might be doing something wrong but I have tried running all of these packages that are on the default download site.
My install of Fedora contains everything that is on the 3cd's so I don't think I am missing some core library.
The strangest problem that I come across is that mplayer requires mplayer-common and mplayer-common requires mplayer. Makes no sense.
Can anybody tell me in detail or send me a 3 or 4 step power point on how to accomplish this hair pulling task.
