still can't boot to red hat linux 7.0

I re-installed red hat linux and created a boot disk at the end of the installation but i still can't get into red hat. It just goes straight to win2k. everything was successful in the installation including the boot disk creation. i have checked that the computer can be booted from a floppy just not the red hat one.

What is your overall goal? Do you want to dual boot or do you want to boot to linux only?

And to get this straight you can boot from floppy to win2k or other but no into linux?

This one goes out to all double-posters

Please do not double post. I hate that and I am sure that everyone will agree with me.

In order to answer someone's question, I look at what other people had to say. I then build on their post to come up with my answer. If I don't have the answer to your problem then someone will build off of my post to get even closer to the final solution. And then before you know it, a problem has been answered.

But if you post multiple times, then everyone is posting on a different thread which will lead to noone collaborating.

I hope I am making sense here, if not then maybe someone else could explain.
