Hallo:
I'm trying to mount a share of a windows server using kerberos.
I try:
mount.cifs //server_name/share mount_point --verbose -o sec=krb5
I receive this error:
mount error 38 = Function not implemented
According to information, krb option would be available from cifs version 1.48. (
http://pserver.samba.org/samba/ftp/c...ient-guide.pdf)
My cifs version is:
modinfo /lib/modules/2.6.24-19-generic/kernel/fs/cifs/cifs.ko
filename: /lib/modules/2.6.24-19-generic/kernel/fs/cifs/cifs.ko
version:
1.52
Please, can you tell me if there is a way to mount on linux windows shares using kerberos?
What I try to do is: When a user connects to a linux computer, he will be mounted some shares from some servers automatically. And I don't want to use password (instead, I will use kerberos tiquets due to linux is integrated with Active Directory).
Thanks
