RH 9.0 Upgrade - Can't Send from Kmail

Since I upgraded to RH 9, I am unable to send from Kmail.

The error message is:

"Unrecognized transport protocol. Unable to send message."

Needless to say, I have tried what I believe to be every possible combination under "Settings", "Configure Kmail" and still get this same ANNOYING MESSAGE.

Help.

Thanks,

David

solved: kmail "Unrecognized transport protocol. Unable to send message"

I just had this problem and went nuts.
Problem: Probably you had a message in the outbox, then reconfigured kmail, then tried to send it. Now this message is blocking the out box, but can't be delivered. It's a known bug.
Solution: Just delete the blocking message. All should be fine then.

hope this was it
