Konqueror won't display Windows FTP contents

I am trying to list files on an FTP server which is a Windows machine, but Konqueror will not list the files, though it does login correctly. It will display the file when fully qualified (it's a JPEG) but will not list directories or their contents.

It works fine for UNIX/LINUX served FTP sites.

What is happening?

Thanks...

NOTE: The problem is on RH 8.0. I don't have this problem on RH 7.2.
