Is it possible to "permanently" mount samba shares?
I am a bit of a newbie to Linux. I have installed (...and installed, and installed, ...) RedHat 9.0 on a PIII machine and am attempting to connect to Windows machines through my LAN in order to share files. After poring over literature and querying Google dozens (nay HUNDREDS) of times, I had a ray of hope: alas, I could see Windows shares from RedHat and RedHat shares from Windows! My rapture was unbounded. However, after a reboot of the Linux machine, it all went away. All I could guess was that I need to mount shares manually with every boot. Is this true? or is there a way to make the share "stick?"
