Has gaim's conversation window closed feature removed?

This is just a question out of interest: have recent versions of gaim seen the removal of the "user has closed the conversation window" feature? I really like this feature, but have suspected it of malfunctioning recently (ie. getting this message and then getting a message from the same contact). After running a recent update of gaim, I no longer get this message and cannot find the option to turn it on in the preferences menu. Anyone know what happened (I'm really just curious on this one)?

In my gaim prefrences there is a section called "MSN", msn is the only thing I use gaim for anyway and the only choices under it are "Display conversation closed notices" and "Display timeout notices". I don't know if there was a feature before and it was removed but that's how I turned them off beause I also found them to be not working properly.

Hmm.. I am now missing this MSN section, although I do recall having it at one point. I don't think I've changed anything recently other than the update.
