I've been trying to install a new version of Glib so that I can install the latest GTK+, but in the process, I think I may have messed up Gnome. All I can use now is KDE, and of course, the shell.
Before you say "Just install Glib", well, I've been trying to all day. It claims that the installation was successful, but none of the old files get replaced, and other programs that need Glib complain that it isn't installed whenever I try and install
them.
I'm really confused, and I have no clue where to start...could somebody help me disipline my computer, please?
Hmm....In the meantime, I have an idea.
