Can't install Firefox or IceWeasel on Kubuntu
I do aptitude install firefox... it goes through the motions without complaint but nothing is added to desktop, panel or works by typing "firefox" at the command prompt. I've also tried the "adept-installer" which does an amazing job of adding a firefox icon...nothing else.
