I have been trying to update my gcc with yum "yum install gcc" but i keep getting this error. If these files are missing shouldn't yum automaticlly upload and install them. I went to RPM.pbone.net and the file I downloaded was older than the one running hence it would not let me install it. error says

Error: Missing Dependency: gcc = 3.3.3 is needed by package gcc-objc
Error: Missing Dependency: gcc = 3.3.3 is needed by package gcc-java
Error: Missing Dependency: gcc = 3.3.3 is needed by package gcc-g77

Heres the whole thing

What should i do to get these files????

Please don't re-animate a 3 year dead post that's completely
unrelated to your problem. Take the time to a) start a thread
yourself or b) plug into one that's more closely related.

Cheers,
Tink
