x - 'no screens found'

This is my first installtion.
when typing 'startx' the following appears:

Fatal server error:
no screens found

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (connection reser by peer) on X server "0:0" after 0 requests (0 know processed) with 0 events remaining.

I'm guesing this may have something to do with my video card. I have onboard video from a PC Chips m810d motherboard. There was only 1 Pc Chips in the list, though not an exact match........

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks!

try running xf86config
It's most likely you need to configure X with the appropriate card, as you said, and set up the appropriate resolution and refresh rates for your monitor.
