lately out of no where my cd/dvd drive stopped working. it will eject and al of that and when u have a disc in and close it, the little cd will show up next to the cursor as its trying to open, then it will not load a disc or say there's nothing in there. i have tried to uninstall the drive, disable it and re-enable and restart and nothing happens. if any one can please help it would be greatly greatly appreciated. please respond or e-mail mat a gosda_c@yahoo.com
it might've gone bad but i dont know y because i've only had this computer for abotu 3 years, tis a compaq presario s3000z p8655a. i can hear it spinning and when i troubleshoot and everything it says that its working properly. im the only user on my computer, and it happens to all cd's and dvd's.
