what's your recommendation for a distr. that suits an audio pc.


i'm interisted in music recording/mixing/production, so i'm looking for a linux distribution that suits me well, i'm a newbie at linux but a computer freak, so i need a reliable and a version with everything i need without looking too much, easy to use, and to run my programs i'm using (soundforge, guitar pro, reason, cubase, etc..), thanks all..

Hoping this does two things.

1. makes you giggle.

2. interests you in DeMuDi.

hehe, thanks, i've been searchin since last night and i've came to see that Ubuntu is also cool, what do u think?!

If you really know what you're doing, production wise, You need real-time kernel enhancements. Otherwise Ubuntu, or any major distro will be fine.

DeMuDi has been superseded by 64Studio

DeMuDi,, is it a stand alone distr. or does it need Debian or Red hat?
