Web Page Creation on Linux
which programs the easiest to deal with when creating a basic website within Linux (Ubuntu)? HTML level...nothing flash and nothing java.
P.S. something relatively comparative with Win 98 Visual Basic script proportions (no modules) but HTML-wise. |
sudo apt-get install kompozer
or sudo apt-get install bluefish Bluefish is a text editor designed for web based scripting. Komposer is a wyswyg editor as well. How ever there are more out there those are the only 2 off the top of my head. If you install wine you can use windows based apps as well. |

I always thought VB was a beer.
As far as I know seamonkey is the spawn of Mozilla Composer which replaced Netscape Composer, so it may be exactly what you are looking for. Cheers, Evo2. |
OpenOffice.org Writer. Save as HTML.
Definitely not the best solution, but quite possibly one of the easiest. |
