Hi everybody! At first I have to say that I'm really a Newbie with Linux and want to install it in order to work with it (Apache, PHP and PSQL/MySQL).
So, here's my problem:
I'm trying to install RedHat9 on my computer, but at the step when I'm asked for the location of the ISO images, it tells me that, apparently the ISO can't be found in the partition I chose.
Here's what I did. At first, I partitionned my new HD, from the Windows XP HD Manager, into 3 partitions:
10Gb for the system, unformatted and unassigned
2Gb for the SWAP, unformatted and unassigned
2Gb for the 3 ISO files formatted in NTFS and assigned as "I:"
Then I made my bootdisk with rawrite, placed it into my floppy and restarted the computer. At the point when I was asked for the location of the ISO files, I chose "HardDisk" and had three visibles partitions: hdb1, hdb2 and hdb3 (the partition where the ISO files are...) So, I chose hdb3, without specifying a directory because I copied the ISO files directly at the root of the partition.
And it doesn't find any ISO files...
I really don't understand why! Even by typing "/" as the directory where the ISO files are, still nothing... Any ideas?
PS: I chercked the integrity of these files with MD5SUM, and everything seems to be OK...
Please help me!
