PXE booting an iso plus DHCPd won't work :S

can anyone tell me how you go about PXE booting an iso image, i wan't to be able to install any cd based OS over PXE, also my DHCPd service won't start, i'm pretty sure it has something to do with my /etc/dhcpd.conf file, here's the content

can anyone post how it should be? i know i need to change the subnet to something that doesnt conflict with my wireless but when i try n run DHCPd it tells me that its not listening on any devices or something

I have been setting up PXE net booting for debian and it works well. But i dont know how to add PXE booting for any distro, did you find this out or does someone else know? I can find guides for doing PXE for ubuntu, but i dont know about the other distros. However, i think there might be a pxelinux.0 file and netboot directory on every linux OS...so i will have a closer look at this. Would be nice if someone still could point me to some right direction though

Could you share your finding regarding your solutions. I am also trying to figure out how or what I need to do in order to PXE ISO files. I have a PXE setup and running which works fine for my boot disks but now I am trying to take it a step further and PXE a WinPE iso I have.

in regards to PXE booting any win OS's you should find all the answers you need on the microsoft website, when you want to PXE boot from an ISO file you must send GRUB over in the initial boot, and then access the already mounted ISO file via NFS using GRUB, i sorta gave up on this whole idea but i've heard a few cases of it working

the guide for pxe booting debian can be found on debians official website under "installation manual".

yea, i don't really need the info any more, i found a way to boot my stuffed pc and load debian on it using an extracted iso on a HDD partition and a grub boot floppy :P, i'd be happy to share the info if you'd like XD

no, internal HDD, does require a second box if u cannot boot via CD though... either that or use a distro like DSL which can boot from a floppy XD
