My movieplayer can't play mpeg-files. What's wrong?

I have installed Kubuntu 10.10 and i can't find out why.
Help please

Did you click the checkbox to install ubuntu-restricted-addons during installation? If not:

Code:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-addons
should work.
