[SOLVED] Multiple Distro's..separate H/D's ..M/board does it affect

GA-F2A85X-UP4
CPU..AMDx4..A8 5600K Quad core
Memory 16gb

As I was Distro hopping, installing one distro per hard-drive.
Have 8 hard-drives in Tower, just unplug, re plug for another drive.
Have used about 45 so far and finally found the one that suits me.

My question is..does all this have a cumulative affect on my system..ie M/board., CPU?
To simplify it, for me, to explain, should I clean it out, after dumping so many different Distros, on the M/B..CPU.
If so, what should I do?
I hope this makes sense, as I am new to Linux.

Generally speaking an OS will not make any changes to the motherboard or CPU that survive a reboot, if that's what you're asking?

I take it there's been some problem.
Swapping drive's registers disks at POST and boots accordingly. Assuming everything is OK at POST there should be no problem by swapping disk's. Things like ram upgrades (Ram speeds) and over clocking cause niggles of many kinds. Install from fresh (There are ways to keep your data while replacing you OS) by formatting the OS partition and install your distribution.

To be more specific, there are no remnants of previous OS installs that need to be got rid of anywhere but the hard drive. A machine can sometimes be overclocked or firmware updated from within an OS but this isn't common and even when done doesn't leave anything behind between changes -- again there are no remnants of other installs present.

No, there is not a problem, just wondering if, what I was doing, by downloading and trying different Distro's was creating one.
