else if i want to buy the red hat cd then what will be the cost and from where i can bought it

RHEL5 is a paid distribution. You can not just download it and use it without the registration. Use CentOS5 instead.

register at redhat.com
ask for 30 day eval and when u will get your subsription (approx 3-4 days), you will be able to dl it
when the 30 days go away you still can you the OS but u cannot use RHN
