Unhappy how to install gcc??

i tried install gcc by opening yast, but as soon as i open yast it gives me the following error message

Cannot access installation media
iso:///?iso=opensuse_11_2_x86_64.iso&url=hd:/?device=/dev/sdb2
(Medium 1).
Check whether the server is accessible.

. what does this mean ?? and how do i go about this installation

It's asking for your installation cd/dvd of suse.
I haven't used suse in a while, but you can change your repositories in YaST. You should add some repositories of suse, and then with yast, try to install GCC.

you can find official SuSe repositories here:
click me

Add them, then search for gcc.

Good luck!
