Fedora 8 iso CD's

Let me apologize for my noobieness, but is it possible to get Fedora 7 or 8 iso image in CD form instead of DVD. I have looked all over the fedoraproject website and I can't find it in CD format. All I can find is Fedora 6, which I have:

FC-6-i386-disc1.iso 2006-Oct-18 02:46:03 675.9M application/x-iso9660-image
FC-6-i386-disc2.iso 2006-Oct-18 02:47:05 681.1M application/x-iso9660-image
FC-6-i386-disc3.iso 2006-Oct-18 02:48:09 678.5M application/x-iso9660-image
FC-6-i386-disc4.iso 2006-Oct-18 02:50:25 682.0M application/x-iso9660-image
FC-6-i386-disc5.iso 2006-Oct-18 02:51:21 645.8M application/x-iso9660-image

They do have a "Live CD" format, but it is my understanding of a Live CD that this is not a bootable device, but something that just loads into memory and appears to run as an installed OS.

Download either the KDE or the Gnome livecd, and install from that. You won't get any options to install extra packages during the install, but you can always do this later via yum. A livecd is a complete OS that runs from a CD, and in most cases can be used to install the OS in question to a hard disk. AFAIK this is the only cd alternative available for Fedora 7 and 8.

Fedora Unity has a "Fedora Everything Respin" for F8 out (a 15 ISO D/L).
